Sometimes you learn a lesson and sometimes you win.
So the ready mix company I used had very poor communication and so did I..
that being said, the wrong PSI ANYWAYS… luckily the slab is 6” thick and will hold the weight of his awning going on top…. One headache disappeared- next, the weight of the cement pulled my electrical piping from the base of my junction box…
I get to dig that out tomorrow morning🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
And then since the communication was poor between the ready mix company and I, we fell short 2 wheel barrows of cement, little the difference between 3k psi and 3.5k psi..
ANYWAYS….
That being said we hand mix and poured the last two wheel barrows and mixed it in but there still might be a slight difference in the coloration of the surface…
Lesson learned and a solution will be provided for the mistake first thing in the morning! 🦾
We don’t just build backyards; we build life long relationships and this client will be satisfied by the end! 🙏
Also- the cement in that corner I am pointing at is still really wet compared to the rest of the slab. (Bags of cement take longer to cure for some reason or another)
But we will see what it looks like in the morning 🦾
