As a plant professional you know that when you bump a cactus you should on some luckily I have lots of tweezers and immediately knew to check. Lucky for you guys I captured these….but there were about 10-12 more in my thumb. PSA: when you bump a cactus, 🛑👀 and check for glochids or spines if you wanna be regular and not extra. 🌱🌿🪴🌵🌴🌳

Hi! Long time no see….. errr rather I’ve been busy!!! One of my first still have these under close scrutiny. I try to make sure my creations are as sturdy as possible. So if I can I try to “quarantine” them for the first few weeks to makes sure they well constructed and all the plants get established. 🌱🌿🪴🌵🌴🌳

Wide angle shot of the greenhouse today. You don’t wanna know how many aphids I found. But let this serve as a reminder to check your plants! I sprayed with soapy water and on the lil’ moss sunshine FLF I went ahead and used a granular systemic for houseplants. Now back to plant chorin’ 🌱🌿🪴🌵🌴🌳

Repotting in that I made! These are scratch made in house succulent pots. If you’re not familiar w hypertufa it’s very cool and you should look it up. We commonly think it’s concrete but it’s much more plant friendly than regular concrete and features some garden supplies as aggregate ingredients! 🤓 🪴🎍 🌱🌿🪴🌵🌴🌳

Taking some time to repot and reshape today. There are so many things to get done with spring just around the corner. This is a reminder for anyone w/bonesai to considering reporting soon. Has it been 1-2 years since last repot? What shape is desired? I removed a significant amount of leaves and repositioned this to change the front. Take this pre-spring time to make some plant plans and happy repotting! 🪴🎍🪴
