🇺🇸 Coming Together to Give Back

CRM recently had the honor of completing a major home renovation for a disabled 82nd Airborne veteran. Because of the extent of the renovations, he had to temporarily move out of his home while the work was being completed. He has also been dealing with dialysis and other health challenges, so we wanted to do something a little extra to welcome him back home.

I spoke with our Lowe’s Pro representative, Josh Partin, and shared the idea with him. Josh immediately said Lowe’s would love to help. We started putting together some ideas and decided to turn it into a service project focused on sprucing up the exterior of the home while also reducing some of the ongoing yard maintenance.

The team from Lowe’s Store #0488 on Highway 70 in Garner, NC came out in force! Eva Flint, Merchandising ASM, along with an amazing group of Lowe’s associates and members of the CRM team, spent the day working together to make it happen.

Together, the team:

• Replaced the mailbox and post
• Installed new shutters
• Trimmed and cleaned up bushes
• Created new landscape beds
• Installed landscape borders and stone to help reduce future maintenance
• Gave the exterior of the home a fresh, welcoming look

This is what community partnership is all about.
