Cold Weather Tips for your Plumbing!

1. If your on a well place a heat lamp out in the well house

2. Leave hot and cold water dripping in a few faucets throughout the home. This is to help prevent the water from freezing

3. Remove all hoses off outdoor faucets. If you leave the hose on it will likely freeze and bust.

PREPARE YOUR PLUMBING FOR FREEZING TEMPS!

If the temperatures drop as low and come back up like they are predicting in the carolina’s this weekend into next week please do some of the following to help prevent frozen pipes as the Plumbing in our area is not used to seeing Below 20 degrees

1. Leave a faucet or two dripping in your home. Make sure to do the hot water as well as it will freeze too!

2. Take all hoses off outside faucets they will freeze and bust and leaving a hose on it makes it much easier to freeze.

3. If your foundation has holes or wide open vents make sure to try and cover them the best you can.

4. If your on a well put a heat bulb in your well house.

If all your preventive measures don’t work call us @ 704-632-5754 and we will see if we can help.

We will be CLOSED from Sunday October 6th and will not be reopening until Wednesday October the 9th for our annual employee appreciation trip. Our staff works hard all year long so they deserve a few days off!

Someone will be checking messages periodically on the office line to schedule things for wed-friday.

rain rain go away…

To all our Septic Tank Customers. Be gentle on your septic systems over the next few days with the amount of rain we are receiving. If you experience sewer symptoms such as gurgling toilets or back-ups ir is possible this will not resolve until the rain stops. You may need your tank pumped afterwards with a good inspection to make sure your leach fields are in good working order.

Sump pumps will be on overdrive today. If you’re experiencing a sump pump emergency just call our office at 704-632-5754 and please leave a message. If our scheduled allows for it we will be happy to help.
