Just finished another Landscape Design project for a shady area where the clients have tried three times to establish turf but due to the dense shade that was created after 17 years of tree growth was not possible.
I think the end result is a more aesthetic and function use of the area than sod would be anyway.
Here are pics of the area before and then I will follow with pics if after the installation.
