In remembering when I first saw it, HighlandersUnite. I saw it after the wildfires. I kept thinking, “Look at all these people. Coming together to provide for each other and show that ‘Love your neighbor’ mentality we have been taught. It was tragic yet it was beautifully terrific. It created scars on our landscape but reminded us to have open hearts. I was impressed by the out pouring. The City of Gatlinburg was never stronger than it was during the time. Tragedy showed me what Highlanders can do. HighlandersUnite, We are past the tragedy but we still need each other to achieve our best. More than a reunion. HighlandersUnite is togetherness. Not just for the few times a year that we get together but it’s that good friend who is a better friend now. A best friend you are proud of. A heritage that you can’t and would never deny! Lift your head. You are a Highlander!!

Join HighlandersUnite! A bonafide chariable organiaztion registered at The State of Tennessee, Secretary of State office. We plan these events to raise an annual gift of $10, 000 to the general scholarship fund at Gatlinburg-Pittman High School!
