Twin Oaks Electric is now hiring for a Full-Time Electrical Apprentice position! Weekends off!

The Electrical Apprentice will assist the Lead Technician on service calls and projects in clients homes. Most of the work performed will involve service upgrades and small remodeling projects. Duties include but are not limited to handling tools, pulling wire, installing electrical devices, job site clean up and organizing van materials.

The Electrical Apprentice will be expected to actively learn about the trade at each job site and help the lead technician complete the tasks in a clean, professional and timely manner.
Applicants must have experience with various hand and power tools, and a tool purchase program is available through paycheck deduction if requested. Applicants must also be able to climb ladders, work at heights, crawl through small spaces such as under homes and in attics, etc.

A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation is required, and fuel used for work will be paid for by company via reimbursement.

Job Description
The Electrical Service Technician will be responsible for service calls that may include installation of and/or assisting with charging stations, recessed lighting, service rebuilds, hot tub circuits, troubleshooting, fixture replacements, small remodels, etc.

Pay is by the job and based on the profit of the job. We set the jobs up, you perform them and collect payment. It's that simple.

The ideal candidate will have a TDLR Wireman, Journeyman, or Master's Electrical License. Applicants must be efficiency-minded, organized, proficient and reliable. Ideal candidate will be able to work independently or with one helper based on project needs, and have outstanding customer service skills. Ideal candidate will also have a positive attitude and be professional in their work and interactions with customers

Candidates must have their own hand tools, and a tool purchase program is available through a pay-check deduction program. Company will provide power tools and heavy tools. Candidate must also have reliable transportation capable of transporting conduit, wire and job material. A company provided service vehicle will be issued at a later date. All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check, drug test and driving record check.
