Joshua reached out after noticing missing shingles, and once we got a closer look, we also found wind damage and cracked shingles that were showing the roof was ready for some serious attention.

Finding the problem is only part of the job. Fixing it the right way is what matters.

We’ve spent a lot of time lately inspecting roofs after the wind, hail, and storms that have moved through Central Kentucky. When we find an issue, our goal is not to automatically tell you that you need a new roof.

Sometimes the answer is a repair. Sometimes the age and condition of the roof mean replacement makes more sense. Either way, we’ll show you what we found, explain your options, and help you make the decision that is right for your home.

Then we get to work.

There is nothing better than finishing a project and knowing that homeowner can head into the next round of Kentucky weather with confidence in what is over their head.

What are we actually finding when we get up on these roofs?

Recent inspections have turned up things like:
• Missing or lifted shingles
• Creased shingles from wind
• Hail impacts
• Granule loss
• Nail pops
• Damaged flashing
• Areas where water may eventually find a way in

That is why a roof inspection is about more than taking a quick look from the ground. We document what we find, take photos, and help you understand the actual condition of your roof.

And finding a problem does not automatically mean you need a new roof. Sometimes a repair is exactly what is needed.

The storms may have moved on, but now is a good time to see what they left behind. With the weather looking better, we’ve been able to get back out on roofs across Central Kentucky and take a closer look.

Sometimes that means you’ll see the shadow of our drone overhead, the shadow of one of our team members on the roof, or even a hand pointing out an area of concern. Those little moments tell the story. Because from the ground, a roof can look just fine — but up close we may find lifted shingles, missing shingles, hail damage, granule loss, flashing issues, or other problem areas that need attention.

We had the opportunity to replace the roof on the existing building while also installing the roof on the new addition. That added space is going to come in handy, and now the entire structure has a roof system built to help protect it for years to come.

Projects like this are a great reminder that sometimes the best investment is not just updating what you already have, but creating more usable space for the future.
