Dad, I see it all. I see the reason you were hard on me. I see the reason you would just do it yourself instead of waiting. I see why you wanted to me learn things that I didn’t think I needed, i see why you didn’t give me things right away you said “one of these days” and if you said that, I knew one of these days it would happen. I see why you taught me life’s a game it’s how you play it, I see why you said to work in silence, I see why you said to do things for others without needing recognition, and I definitely see why you said “don’t take any wooden nickels” but even more than that I see UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, and doing what you see your life to be not anyone else’s. I won’t ever stop feeling your love in every sunrise and sunset. That’s what makes this life worth living. The rest is window dressing.
