In just two days, me and one guy completed a full clean-out and makeover. We removed all the trash from the apartment, cleaned out a basement storage unit, patched holes in the walls, sanded and primed the repairs, and gave the entire apartment a fresh coat of paint. We also installed all new blinds along with new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

What a transformation! The grey completely elevates the space — it feels cleaner, more modern, and so much more inviting than that old yellow. What a transformation this place went through! We started by removing all of the old siding, which quickly revealed the need for new plywood and additional framing. That led us to strip everything down to the bones, replacing and installing new 2×4 framing where needed before installing brand-new plywood throughout.

Next, we wrapped the exterior with house wrap and installed a new window, fully sealed to protect against weather and water intrusion. From there, we installed double-5 white siding, making sure everything was perfectly plumb and level—giving the home a clean, sharp look and leaving it completely leak-free.

Once the exterior was finished, we moved inside and installed new Sheetrock, followed by mudding, taping, priming, and painting. To wrap it all up, we painted the porch with a durable enamel porch paint, giving it a finished, long-lasting look.

The end result is a solid, weather-tight, and completely refreshed space that looks a lot better than where it started.
