Big things are happening at Bark River Conservancy, our new 19-lot subdivision in Summit! 🚀

Our very own David Roembke (VP of Sales & Marketing) caught up with Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin this morning with a major update: nearly half of our lots are already spoken for, and we expect the rest to close before summer ends! ☀️

According to David, the Milwaukee and Madison luxury markets are booming as buyers skip the stress of the resale market to build their custom dream homes from the ground up.

🔍 Zooming out: While luxury is thriving, building smaller homes remains a challenge. Brad Boycks from the Wisconsin Builders Association pointed out that outdated local zoning laws often block development on smaller lots. The silver lining? New state legislation (like TIF financing for smaller projects) is designed to encourage cities to update their rules and welcome more affordable workforce housing.

A number of factors come into play when deciding to start a project.
