I haven’t posted in a while. Finished a bathroom (final pictures of that to come) then did a small job for Valencia Presbyterian church. Block in and insulated an old exhaust vent. Only problem was it was 20 feet up! I remember why I don’t do a lot of scaffolding work anymore.

My most recent project included installing an Onyx solid surface shower system. The panels are installed as a single panel per wall.
The most accurate way to mark all your cuts is to template the walls.
Here’s a couple pictures of that process.

This was a fun bath remodel. I did a full Onyx solid surface shower system. The walls are full panels. The shower pan and countertop are the same material.
Kraftmaid cabinetry and matching mirror, Moen Voss series in Brushed Nickel for all accessories, and a 12x24 porcelain tile.

Finished this Bathroom on Friday.

Removed a fiberglass shower unit and made it a nice size closet.

Removed the whirlpool bath tub and built a 6'10" X 3'4" shower. The shower includes a handheld shower, bench seat, grab bars, and a double height niche.

Replaced floor tile with an 8" X 48" wood plank look porcelain tile. I used same tile for the base work.

New vanity is 75" long with 2 bowls, and the mirror frames match cabinetry.

I used the same quartz material for the countertops, shower curb, bench seat, and niche shelves.

Also added 6 recessed lights to the room and replaced all electrical devises.

Just finished another project.

I was able to get the customer a larger shower with a seat and handheld shower head.

Leveled the floor. Installed black hex floor tile on the main bathroom floor, which wraps up the curb and continues into a single sloped shower floor.

9x20 white wall tile run vertically with Moen Matte Black fixtures.

60 inch natural Maple vanity with two sets of drawers for storage, with custom built maple niche.

Kitchen renovation included installation of 420 sf herringbone tile flooring, 30 sf marblesplash,added some additional recessed lights,all lighting converted to LED, new countertops, painted kitchen, powder room, eating area and Mudroom. All electical device were changed to white.

Recently finished a job for a great customer. They are older and wanted a shower that was easier to get in and out of, especially if they ever needed help.
So I removed a big soaking tub, and built a shower with better access. Shower is 42”x84”. The shower has a single slope pan and full width linear drain, double height recessed niche, hand held shower, and grab bars. Glass panel is 60” long and no door.
Removed the small fiberglass shower unit then built a linen closet.
We kept the existing bath flooring.
I also did the kitchen backsplash.
