Finished! The finished product. As promised, the ultimate soak pool and grotto.
The grotto face on the pool side features a waterfall and plant pockets. The cave can be accessed from in the pool by sitting on the ledge and swinging your feet to the inside and stepping down in using rock ledge steps. You can also walk into the cave through the opening on the side, down the steps and sit on the various rock ledge benches and enjoy the view from the inside. The cave grotto offers a fire pit crevasse, carved concrete roots, multiple geodes and fossils throughout with soft lighting and a secret door in the ceiling that drops down to reveal various bourbons and libations.
Want a different view and atmosphere? Go up the concrete boulder steps to the rock plateau and look out over the pool area. This giant rock formation, made from the same decorative concrete as the grotto, has some very unique features. The fire pit stump, plant pockets in the rock, an umbrella holder, a bottle chilling rock, a concrete countertop serving table, and plenty of room to stretch out and relax in the sun.
The soak pool has multi-level seating and steps, remote light system, auto cover and built in cooler for drinks tucked into the side of the face of the grotto. Need a cold one from the pool? Just reach into the Ice bin and grab one without leaving the pool.
