Under way fixing another leaning retaining wall. Foundation failure and pressure behind the wall can cause these block walls to lean and shift over time.

If your wall is starting to lean, separate, or bow outward, give us a call. We can often rebuild and repair the existing wall using the same block system, or completely replace it with something new and updated.

A lot of homeowners hesitate to reach out because they think their project might be “too small.”

Truth is—those are some of the best jobs to take care of before they turn into bigger, more expensive problems.

This patio didn’t need replaced. It just needed the right tune-up:
• Pressure washing to remove years of buildup
• Cleaning out the joints
• Installing fresh polymeric sand to lock everything back in

Now it’s clean, solid, and ready to be enjoyed again.

Spring projects are starting to pick up around the North Hills, and this one took us a little outside our usual service area over in Upper St. Clair.

The property had a steep slope that was tough to walk and starting to shift over time. We installed a set of large natural stone steps, set on a solid base so they stay level and functional long-term.

To help stabilize everything, we placed anchor boulders alongside the steps. That added support to the hillside and helps prevent movement, especially with the freeze/thaw cycles we get here in Western PA.

Finished it off with some clean plantings to soften the look and tie everything together naturally.

Most of our work is in the North Hills, but we do take on projects outside the area when it makes sense — especially for the right type of job.

If you’ve got a slope or area on your property that’s been giving you trouble, now’s a good time to take a look at it before the heavy rains set in.

First day of spring is here… and everything’s starting to wake up.

This is usually when we start seeing areas that need some attention—overgrowth, shifting, or spots that just aren’t working the way they should anymore.

Sometimes it’s a full transformation…
sometimes it’s just bringing things back into shape.

Either way, now’s a good time to start thinking ahead before the season gets busy.
