About Dig Tech:
Dig Tech has been in underground electrical utility construction for 25 years and specialize in solutions for underground electrical systems in commercial and residential projects. As we continue to grow, we're looking for experienced Excavation Equipment Operators to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an Excavation Equipment Operator to handle various types of excavation machinery for our underground electrical utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating heavy equipment, an understanding of safety protocols, and a keen eye for detail. A Class A CDL and OSHA 10 certification is not required but is a bonus.
Responsibility Overview:
- Operate heavy excavation equipment, including excavators, backhoes, and skid steer, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Excavate trenches and pits for utility installations, ensuring precise measurements and alignment.
- Collaborate with general contractors, and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
