In this remodel our clients wanted to update their old bathroom and give it more of a modern feel with some added light inside their shower. This included removing the wall separating the shower from the vanity and building a half wall to gove it that added light that it needed. This also included bringing everything down to the studs to make sure there was no rot and that our foundation was perfect before we started our prep. They also did not like the old fake wood drawers and doors on the old vanity so the customer purchased new fronts and doors so I took it all apart and sanded it all down and painted the whole thing using the same Bright white color as the cieling to tie it all together. I then used an all Schluter product to make sure we get a lifetime warranty on our Shower system. For the tile our clients decided to go with a large format 12x24 tile in a Riverside Steel color. For the tub I we t with a 63 inch Wyndham Collection Free Standing Tub and a Artiqua Free Standing Tub Filler. For the grout I wanted it all to blend so I used a Polyurethane grout in a Rolling Fog color that matched perfectly. For the edging I used a Schluter Trimline edging that also was color matched so we get the full effects and characteristics from the tile itself. For an added touch we decided to install an undermount lighting kit on the bottom of the vanity that is motion sensored so as soon as you walk in it turns on. For the vanity top itself we went with a custom White Alabaster 3cm quartz with minimal veining for a nice subtle look. Added are 2 Undermount sinks and two Moen single handle faucets in a Genta Collection that matched the shower trim, towel bars, and toilet paper holder. The last 2 pictures are what it looked like before I started.

In this Sequim remodel our clients needed perfect craftsmanship preformed to be able to achieve this amazing dream Mr.Steam Curbless Shower with a heated Shower Pan and Bench, and gorgeous Masterbath with a walk through wet room and adjoining Walk-in closet project.
Walking into these rooms as they were just bare studs and being able to visualize the final goal was a challenge that we at Above and Beyond were totally happy to take on head first. And what a challenge this was. The free standing Stone tub alone had to have reinforced framing to support it, and had to have an outside wall removed just to get it into the bathroom.
For the materials, we used a Trek 12x24 large format tile in a Vulcan color for all of the floors and for a 5 inch tiled base trim. For the shower walls and Bench we used a Freedom 12x24 large format tile in an Iron Oxide. And for the Curbless Pan and Sauna we used a Freedom 2x2 Mosiacs tile also in the Iron Oxide color to match perfectly and give us the right form for the slope to a Linear Infinity drain with a Tileable drain grate. Since this is a Mr. Steam shower we wanted to make sure all surfaces were warmed to the touch so I installed a Schluter Heating system across the whole pan and into the sauna and across the top of the bench. To make sure we had a warm transition, I also installed a Schluter Heated floor through-out all of wet room, master bath (except under tub and river rocks), and walk-In closet. And I used a Schluter WIFI Programmable Thermostat that connects to Amazon, Google Home, Alexa, and numerous other Home security systems that allow for an easy, speakable access that is super user friendly. For the vanity wall we used a Fremmenta Palladiana Matte Mosaics in a Dark Grey color. Now these come in sheets and we didnt want sheet lines anywhere, so I removed them from the sheets and single set every piece. For the grout I used a Polyurethane grout in a Stone Grey color for the vanity, and a Charcoal color for the floors and shower. Also behind the Free Standing Tub I installed another Linear Infinity Hidden drain with a tileable drain grate as an over flow drain for the tub. Under the floating vanity I wanted to make sure my clients feet were comfortable so I removed the old vent register and built a custom Chameleon tileable drain thats perfectly flush with the surrounding tiles. All edge were capped with a Schluter Trimline Jolly Edging in an Anthricite color that matched the tile perfectly. In the rotunda room our clients really wanted that wow factor on their firepace, so I installed an Eldorado Stacked Stone in a Black River color that totally accents and finishes the wall completing the project.
In this Project I want to give thanks to a team of professionals that were able to come together and make such a beautiful project become a dream for our clients. Something they are going to cherish for years and years.

Another Fox Island Fabulous Remodel
In this remodel our clients wanted to update their old bathroom into something new and modern so I removed everything and installed a 12x24 tile in their shower with a new hidden linear drain. They also needed some space for their shampoos so I built a custom made 4 foot soap niche with quartz shelfs to seperate it and made each box perfect size for any costco or sally Mae shampoos. She also wanted a foot bench to set her foot when shaving so to tie it all together with the vanity I used the same quartz for the top of the floating bench. The tub area was a main concern of hers so I installed a 72 inch free standing tub in the Wyndham Collection. For the floor we used a Brazil Cherry wood LVP to give it a contrasted look. The last couple pictures are what it looked like before I started.

In this design our clients wanted to remove the old wood wainscoting around the whole room, and remove the small shower that was in the center of the room with vanities on both sides, reroute the plumbing and have a master bathroom built that totally fit their wants and needs. For the shower I rerouted the plumbing to the return wall and installed not only a standard shower head on the back wall, but also a Delta Hand held Adjustable shower unit in a Matte Black finish. Our clients really liked the rain feature option so I installed a Black Delta 12 inch square rain shower head directly over head. For the drain I used a Schluter 27 inch Tileable Linear drain to give it that hidden feature. For the tile we used a Multicolored hexagon tile on the shower pan, and the same Multicolored pattern subway tile for the shower walls, and ran the tile throughout the whole vanity wall to tie everything together. My clients really couldn't find a vanity that they liked so I built one using three cabinets. I then installed a Calacatta Laza 3cm quartz on top with 2 undermount sinks and Delta 3 hole faucets also in Matte Black. And added 2 Lighted sensor activated mirrors so they turn on as soon as you enter the room. For Electrical outlets I installed two new square outlets with the usb charger ports built it. On all other walls I removed the old wainscoting and had to sand and refinish the walls and repaint in an Etched Glass color. For the Tub wall our clients really like the shiplap look and wanted it to go to the cieling so I installed a full length shiplap from the floor to the cieling and sealed it with a hardwood sealer and then painted it bright white to match the cieling and door trim. For the tub I installed a 70" Wyndham Collection Free Standing Tub and a Delta Trinsic Free Standing Tub Filler with Hand held wand. And for an added touch I installed a small chandelier above the tub. For their shower robes I installed four Delta Shower Robe hooks in a Matte Black finish. For the floor we went with a Metropolitan 12x24 tile in an Infused color. Also added is a 4 foot by 13 inch vertical inlaid soap niche with three Laza Quartz shelfs, and a matching pony wall top as well. For the grout I used a Polyurethane grout in a Rolling Fog color. Last few pictures are what it looked like when I started.

In this Master bath remodel the clients wanted a more modern, updated bathroom. So I removed the existing free standing tub that was on a platform and all of the shower and everything to expose the whole home water manifold and drains in concrete that needed to be rerouted and concrete repaired. I then installed a fully Schluter waterproofing shower system to make sure we get that 100% waterproof and v***r barrier. I then installed a super nice higher end 12x24 porcelain/ceramic tile in a Hot Quartzite Bianco style and color. I then grouted everything in a Rolling Fog Polyurethane grout to blend everything together and so we can pull all the characteristics out of the tile. I also removed the existing countertops and installed a 3cm Bianco Valentino Quartz with two undermount sinks and finished with Moen single mount faucets. For the shower head our clients wanted something extendable so I installed a Moen adjustable hand held shower unit with a 60 inch reach so they can extend the shower head to wherever they want. For the tub I installed a 67 inch Wyndham Collection Sara edition Free Standing tub with an Artiqua Free Standing Tub Filler. Added is a 16x28 inlaid soap niche and a 32 inch floating Shower Bench wrapped in the Bianco Tile. Also added is a 5 inch tiled base trim around the whole bathroom and toilet room. All edges are capped with a Schluter Trimline edging to give it that custom finished look. For the shower drain I went with a 32 inch Tileable Linear drain to give it the hidden effect. For the paint our clients really liked the Etched Glass color from Behr Marquee and a bright white for the cieling to totally seperate and open up the bathroom. Also I changed all lights to a shower approved LED lighting that totally brightens the room.

In this Design our clients really wanted to lighten it up and give it kind of a beach theme. So we tore out all the existing tile and prepped everything with an all exclusive Schluter waterproofing System that ensures 100% waterproofing and V***r barrier with a Lifetime warranty. Once I removed the existing tub and deck, since it was jetted I was able to use the electric from it and ran it to an new exterior juction box so they now have an electric box outside. For the tile our client decided to go with a Themar Matte 12x24 in a Bianco Lasa design. Very nice tile. Since our clients were worried about the chillness of the tile, and didnt want to hide their new tile with rugs we installed a full Schluter Heated flooring System with the new Schluter programmable WIFI Thermostat that can be adjusted from your phone or laptop. For the paint our client went with a Sea Foam color for the walls and a bright white color for the cieling. On the vanities I really wanted to keep a flow so with the quartz we went with a Cambria Brittanica quartz that had exactly what we were looking for. With two undermount sinks finished with a single Moen faucet for each, I was able to keep my flow on the main bath vanity as well as my Make-up vanity. We removed the old mirrors and lights and installed new mirrors and new LED lights that are way better for bathrooms that get a lot of moisture. For the inlaid soap nich we went with a 12x24 upward soap niche and installed a Linear Blue Shell Mosaic for the back of the niche, and installed a Brittanicca quartz shelf to tie it together with the vanities. For the shower Fixtures we went with a single shower head that produces 2.7 gallons per minute on the entrance wall and an adjustable shower unit with a wand on the adjacent wall for versatility. All made by Moen. On the small pony wall as you walk in I installed an 18 inch free floating corner bench wrapped in the same Bianco Lasa tile. For the Grout we went with a Polyurethane grout in a Rolling Fog color to bring as much characteristics out of the tile as I could. For the tub we completely removed the existing tub and deck and went with a Wyndham Collection 67 inch free-standing tub with an Artiqua Tub Filler. The shower glass was installed by Viking Glass and all plumbing was completed by Great Western Plumbing. The last three pictures are what it looked like before I started. I hope you all have a great day.

In this renovation, our clients wanted to completely change the look of their old Masterbath and give it that new updated look. So first, I removed the existing wall that separated the toilet/bidet room to open up that area and allow more natural light into the room. There was no wash basin in this room so I removed the Bidet that was never used and rerouted the water supply and installed a new single sink vanity with a bowl type basin and raised faucet, and installed a mirror that matched as best as possible. Our clients really liked the idea of the new Rain Shower heads and the adjustable shower unit with the handheld wand from Moen, so while the walls were off, I rerouted the water supply to each appropriate spot. I then prepped all walls and floors with a Schluter Ditra mat for the floors and the Kerdi Board for the walls to ensure a 100% waterproof and v***r barrier area. After taking out the old existing tub, we were able to expand the shower floor area, giving it over a foot more of space in the shower. Now for the tile, our clients decided to go with a Trek 12x24 tile in a Vulcan color/design, which went in very nicely. Our clients loved their old jetted tub but wanted to update it, so I decided to go with the new free-standing Whirlpool Jetted bubble massage tub with built-in lights for relaxation and an Artiqua Tub Filler. Now, for the tub, our clients would always use the existing tub deck for space for shampoo and soaps and were concerned about that so while all my walls were off I reframed and installed a header across the tub wall and built and installed a 56"×16" inlaid wall soap/shampoo storage niche that set perfectly in the middle of the new free standing tub. Back to the shower I had lots of room so I installed a 40 inch linear drain with the Tileable drain grate to give it that hidden appeal. I also installed a 24 inch free floating corner bench wrapped in tile. For the edges of the tile I capped it all with a Schluter Trimline jolly edge in an Anthricite color that matched perfectly with the tile. And for the grout I used a Polyurethane grout in a Charcoal color. For the paint we went with an Etched glass color and an all white for the ceiling. The last four pictures are what it looked like before I started.

In this design our clients did not like how their existing shower was enclosed at the entrance, and hated the tile on the cieling because it wasnt at the proper slope so it the would drip cold water on them mid way through a shower, so I completely removed everything and opened it all up and added a Halo Shower light that is dimmable by the customers phone. For the tile our clients decided to go with a 12x24 Porcelain tile in a Supreme Graphite color and finished with a FusionPro Polyurethane grout in a Pewter color. For our Shower Pan tile I installed the same large format tile as the walls and envelope cut it so its at the perfect slope. For our Shower drain we used a Schluter 4x4 in a curve design. Added is a 12x28 inlaid soap niche with an 18" floating corner bench. For the plumbing we installed a new Moen rough in valve with all new Moen accessories and a 2.75 gpm shower head for a really good spray. For the corner cabinet our clients went with one of our stock Quartz slabs. A valentino Bianco with slight veining which matched their new vanity that the clients choose. To tie them both together I decided to go with a tiled backsplash in the same Supreme Graphite tile. All tile was capped with a Schluter Trimline edging to give it that custom finished edge. For our mirror our clients still wanted to have some space for storage so we went with a Kohler style 3/4 open style Medicine cabinet with all glass shelves. For our toilet we went with a Kohler Cimarron for a more comfortable and better fit. Our clients also did not like the existing pocket style door leading in to the spare bedroom so I completely removed it and framed in the wall and door frame and installed a 36" barn style door in a grey color. For the paint I used a Behr Marquee paint that matched the rest of the bathroom perfectly and repainted the cieling an all white in a Satin finish. There are a couple of prep pics and a couple pictures of just one of the plumbing repairs I had to bring up to standards. Everything is prepped with Schluter Waterproofing and registered so it gives us a lifetime warranty. The last 4 pictures are what it was before I started. Next Viking Glass is installing the shower glass as soon as it gets in. And those who are in line thank you for being so patient. Especially with all of the shipping and material shortages we having.
