What a great deal!!

Live in Scottsdale? Come out this Saturday, March 25th, make a $15 donation, and take home ALL of this amazing rescued produce! We have hard squashes, brussel sprouts, eggplant, english cucumber, tomatoes, anaheim peppers and AVOCADOS for you!!

Location: Borderlands’ P.O.W.W.O.W. at FBCScottsdale 7025 E Osborn Rd. Scottsdale 85251

Hours are 8:00am to 11:00am, ending sooner only if we run out. It is getting hot these days, so try to come out early and help us run out so our volunteers can go home!!

We only accept CASH donations on Saturdays. We have no residency or income requirements; we are open to the public! Come out and do your part to help curb food waste by giving our rescued produce a good home!!

Awesome News!!! We are looking to add on to our team. We are hiring a full time field Service/Handyman to help with our growing workload.

As a field Serviceman, you are responsible for visiting both vacant and occupied properties to inspect, troubleshoot, install or repair specific items. Your tasks will change from one property to another so we need someone who is comfortable and proficient with all types of general home maintenance repairs.

The job duties include (but are not limited to):
Basic plumbing - Repairing or replacing faucets, sinks, drains and toilets
Basic electrical - Installing ceiling fans, outlets and switches
Basic drywall and painting
Measuring jobs and picking up materials that are not in inventory or at the shop
Demo and haul off of old components
General carpentry - cabinet and drawer repairs, baseboard work and some door work at times
Account for and manage inventory used and purchased

Requirements:
Construction experience and hands on experience with the duties listed above
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Must have your own tools
Must meet background requirements
Good time management skills
Proficient with online communication methods (email and text)
