Extreme heat is here, and your plants aren't used to this yet. Since many of the plants and gardens are currently pushing out tender spring growth, this sudden spike can be a shock to the system.

We are currently in a "False Spring" here in the Valley. Those beautiful warm days signal your plants to wake up and push out new growth. But when temperatures swing back down to overnight lows in the 40s, that new growth can get fried.
If you have Lantana, Bougainvillea, or Citrus trees, they are in the danger zone right now.
