Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. completed testing of their solid sorbent system in September and have been disassembling the equipment. The test bay should be vacated by the end of the year and ready for a new tenant.

⛟ Tenant Update! After Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.’s commissioning phase, their team offloaded used amine sorbents and reloaded fresh ones into the plant’s sorbent containers.

Keep an eye out for more updates from KHI as they advance their plant operations throughout the month.

In June, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. was in full swing, commissioning their plant throughout the month to gear up for plant operations startup in July! Excitement buzzed in the air as the team celebrated each milestone, knowing they were powering up for a bright future!

In May, Hladky Construction assembled primary components of the TDA Carbon Capture Pilot Plant on concrete pads in test bay “D” at the Integrated Test Center’s small test center. This brings the project one step closer to the testing phase.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI) has finished the first series of testing its novel solid sorbent carbon capture project at the ITC! The ITC looks forward to KHI returning in 2024 to continue to verify the effectiveness and usefulness of its solid sorbent technology for commercial deployment to large-scale plants. Continue to check back as our developers move forward with their technologies!
