It has been awhile since I have been active on social media and my blog. I took a brief break to focus on some unexpected responsibilities and to implement better platform building and creative processing.
My name is Alissa Dedic. I am the owner of Elk Creek Content LLC. I am a freelance Christian book editor and writer. As an editor, I help Christian nonfiction writers present manuscripts that professionally prepared for publication through industry standards so their messages can clearly and effectively reach their readers. As a writer, I help Christians who are looking to build their faith and craft through biblically based disciplines so they can faithfully follow the calling God has placed on their lives to serve Him with steadfast purpose.
Recently, I have been meditating on and memorizing two verses from Acts:
"When he [Barnabas] came and saw the grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose. " (Acts 11:23 ESV brackets are my own for clarity)
"One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, frim the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. And after she was batized, and her household as well, she urged us saying, 'If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.' And she prevailed upon us." (Acts 16:14-15 ESV)
