We're excited to announce plans for a new 60,000-square-foot speculative industrial building at South Cooper Industrial Park.

This project marks the third speculative building developed within the park and builds on the success of previous speculative facilities that are now home to Bluegrass Ingredients and Union Coating.

Located on approximately 15 acres, the new building is designed with future expansion capabilities and will help strengthen the industrial product available in Barren County.

As we continue investing in South Cooper Industrial Park, our focus remains on preparing Barren County for future opportunities and supporting long-term economic growth.

Bringing Advanced Manufacturing to Barren County

Barren County is proud to welcome Tate to Glasgow, Kentucky: the location of their new advanced manufacturing facility.

The new facility will be Tate’s largest site worldwide, significantly expanding the company’s production capacity and reflecting Tate's commitment to investing in U.S. manufacturing and creating high quality jobs. Producing precision-engineered power and cooling infrastructure for data centers located worldwide, the new site will bring:

400 new, high quality manufacturing jobs (the largest job creation announcement in Barren County for at least two decades)
A $76 million investment to renovate the former R.R. Donnelley building in Glasgow to create a state-of-the-art facility with advanced fabrication, assembly, and testing capabilities
A key role for Barren County in supporting the digital systems that power everything from healthcare and finance to AI and cloud computing

Tate is a global company with more than 60 years’ experience in engineering and manufacturing, and we’re thrilled they’ve chosen Barren County for the next chapter in their continued growth.
