Billings Media Blasting We are a full service sandblasting contractor located in Glastonbury CT. Sandblasting or Abrasive blasting is as its name states.

Compressed air carries abrasive to the material being blasted. It abrades the substrate in order to remove paint and rust. Abrasive blasting can also be used for paint prep as well as creating profiles desired for certain painting applications. Along with our traditional blasting techniques we offer a new service called Precise Dry Ice Automotive Detailing. This is a process that uses dry ice and

compressed air to clean most any surface: Plastics, rubber, electronics, aluminum paint and many more. Some of its best uses are for cleaning undercarriages, suspension components and engine compartments but depending on your project dry ice cleaning can be used for many other areas. Walnut Shell Blasting is a gentle, environmentally friendly method of removing paint, dirt, grime, mold and smoke residue from almost any surface including metal, wood, plastic, masonry and tile. Some of the many uses include stripping of anti-fouling bottom paint from boats, paint from cars and trucks, graffiti from buildings, mold remediation and fire/smoke restoration.
