Many thanks to all those dedicated linemen working around the clock to restore power at co-ops in Virginia, Maryland and Delaware! We especially thank all those who have arrived from others states to help with restoration efforts, including linemen who travelled from NC, SC, GA, TN, AL, and Miss.

As of this morning, over two-thirds of Virginia's hurricane-related outages have now been restored. Thank you to all the hard-working linemen out there working around the clock to get the lights back on!

Hurricane Irene swept across the Eastern Seaboard over the weekend leaving more than 2 million people without power, including hundreds of thousands of co-op consumer-members.
