BACK TO SCHOOL CELEBRATION - Back-to-school season is an exciting time, but it can also be financially challenging. That is why I'm thrilled to once again be teaming up with Glen Cove City Schools and the Nassau County PBA to host our annual backpack giveaway at the Landing Elementary School (60 McLoughlin Street, Glen Cove) at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19!

Supplies are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first served basis. Please contact my office at 516-571-6211 or [email protected] for additional information - and help us spread the word!

We’re still on a mission to find a kidney for David Geliashvili — and Glen Cove isn’t giving up.

Last week’s incredible event was just the beginning. Chaired by Glen Cove Rotary’s Rose Ann Telese and Trish McCauley, the room was packed with love, support, and action. David is not only a dedicated member of the Glen Cove Senior Center team, but a familiar, friendly face at La Bussola.

Mayor Pam Panzenbeck and Deputy Mayor Donna McNaughton stood with our community that night, and Northwell Health shared vital info about their Kidney Transplant Recipient Program.
