Technical Director

Sliding into his new role as Technical Director, Bill McHugh continues to support FCIA with his technical expertise. In this role, he will focus on his work advocating for and promoting the FCIA membership and mission through his work on Codes, Standards, partnerships, and advocacy.

He continues to keep FCIA and its members front-and-center in the global passive fire protection discussion and will do so for the foreseeable future.

Reminiscing on the last day of the ECA'24 conference... SUCH FUN!
The day started with Trent Cotney on the topic of Navigating Construction Defects, Dr. Anirban Basu joined us virtually with his presentation on 'The Good, The Bad, The Ugly', and Bill Koffel along with Bill McHugh and Rich Walke gave us great information on Codes!

Starting with Mark Damon on the topic of Safety, to committee meetings, Restoring STC Through Proper Firestopping with Tim Mattox, Guiding you through UL Solutions with Mark St. Onge, a talented panelist lineup who spoke on the topic of Practical Perimeter Fire Containment, and last but certainly not least - a FUN COCKTAIL HOUR!
