A lot of you have been asking how Hopewell member "Dave The Forager" (our foraging class instructor) has been doing. Approximately a month ago, Dave was diagnosed with encephalitis as a result of Powassan Virus, a rare tick-borne disease. He was finally able to come home from the hospital in time for Christmas with his famuly, but will have in-home therapy for some time to regain his strength.

Many of you have asked how you can help. It would really help if we could provide some meals as they adjust to their new schedules and focus on Dave’s healing!
