Prepped and painted all the new trim,drywall in a renovated home. Had to work long days and weekends to get it done on time and certainly didn’t help everything was installed before I got there but it’s done. Also no I did not paint the laundry floor someone else did that.

These are just some examples of why things take time alot of people think you grab a bucket of paint and a roller snap your fingers and it’s done. If I ignore most of this stuff in these photos it’s going to turn out terrible they were hoping for me to paint this entire new house in a week meanwhile I’ll be lucky to be done prepping in a week. It’s amazing how much new construction has changed in my 22 years of doing this. Absolutely no time allotted for the painters it at least used to be an unreasonable amount of time. Job sites now are always absolutely filthy. No more dumpsters your expected to removed all your own waste and use your personal trash. Every contractor and there mother in the house at the same time. It’s ok for things to take a little time and to have them done. Being the painter and eventually the last one on the job you get pushed more than most even though you just got there everyone else is done and they want the project to wrap up immediately, fun stuff. That being said I want to start leaning more into furniture refinishing again. If you have anything you would like refinished send me a message 😊

I’ve been plugging away at this garage and exterior job this week and boy has it been tough heat wise. I think my days of exterior work are over or going to be extremely limited. Every year they seem to come at the worse possible time to work outside. That being said it is turning out very nice. Painted the ceiling, walls and trim in the garage and all the dental molding, soffits, doors, railings on the new build porches

Currently refinishing a table top that’s almost ready to install. This table top was almost completely worn down to bare wood. I matched the stain, stained it and now put the final coat of Milesi wood coating clear coat over it for the most durability and protection that are on the market. I definitely do not get every job I price these days but I refuse to do a half assed job and use inferior products just to get done and paid. I want a long lasting product for the customers. I my self have been taken advantage by from contractors over and over and i refuse to do that to anyone. So some things may take me a little longer than i originally said but its just because i want it done to the best of my ability 🙂
