Last night I had a friend with a backed up sewer over by the middle school. After looking into it and a little bit of help over the phone from Pat Burlison, we found that main was backing up for the entire block. I texted Tanner Dey at about 9:00 to let him know about it so that it could be addressed in the morning. Next thing I know Ted Casey was out checking the manholes that night! He had the issue found and removed right away. Thanks for going above and beyond to the hard workers for the City of Glendive! That could have been a real issue for those homeowners this morning!

Happy Spring!

Just a little reminder that air conditioning season is upon us. Here are a couple quick tips to help your unit run more smoothly (and maybe avoid seeing us for a service call).

• Air Conditioners run best when they are able to move lots of air. Check that filter monthly during the summer time and make sure that it stays clean and unrestrictive.

• The condenser outside also relies on plenty of airflow. We recommend cleaning most brands of coils out every spring. A simple way to do this is with a garden hose and a flat spray. This should only be done on the outside of the unit and be sure not to spray the fan blades especially when it is running. If you aren't comfortable with this procedure give us a call and we can send somebody out to do a thorough cleaning of the unit!

These two things will help an air conditioner to run more effectively in your home. It also allows the system to run more efficiently and in a way that reduces wear and tear.
