Heavy equipment + wet ground = a destroyed lawn. 🚜💥

When soil gets saturated, it loses its strength. Heavy machinery running over that turns wet dirt into deep ruts, torn-up turf, and nasty mud pits.

You've been out there in the hot weather mowing, weeding, keeping the tomatoes alive. You probably forgot to look up at the trees while you're busy with everything happening at ground level.

The real question is what caused it.

👉 Storm damage from months back?
👉 Damage from recent storms?
👉 Stress higher in the canopy?
👉 Shade loss from a neighboring tree or structure?
👉 The tree slowly failing from the inside out?

Cutting dead wood isn't just cleanup — it's how you read what the rest of the tree is telling you. That's the difference between a tree that's aging normally and one that's headed for real trouble.

Before the holiday weekend, take two minutes and look up.

Over the patio. Over the driveway. Over wherever people will be standing or parking this week.

Dead branches look like the rest of the tree until a summer storm — or just a hot, heavy afternoon — decides otherwise and they finally break.

What to look for:
- Limbs with no leaves while the rest of the tree is full
- Visible cracks
