Position Summary
Grassbaugh LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Construction Bridge Technician to support field operations on bridge construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects. This role involves working hands-on with structural and concrete elements while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform bridge construction, repair, and rehabilitation work on public infrastructure projects
• Assist with forming, pouring, finishing, and patching concrete for bridge decks, abutments, and piers
• Install and tie rebar, place reinforcing steel, and assist with structural components
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and light/heavy equipment as needed
• Assist with demolition and removal of existing bridge components
• Read and follow plans, specifications, and layout information
• Work collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managers
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper use on job sites
• Follow all OSHA, ODOT, and company safety standards
• Support general labor tasks as needed on active job sites
Qualifications
• Experience in bridge work, concrete construction, or civil construction preferred
• Familiarity with ODOT specifications and standards is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• CDL preferred but not required
