Yall listen!! People THINK they want a "cookie cutter" home/builder's home! However, people are not realizing that MOST of these builder homes are thrown together using the cheapest materials possible and as quickly as they can. They cut corners, use materials they should NOT be using, rig things, and make it work momentarily. Really all they have to do is pass code! And in situations like this, as long as the toilet is not leaking upon inspection, they never check the toilets and Faucets to actually make sure they are installed correctly and using the RIGHT materials!
If you buy one of these homes prepare for repairs and replacements. And most of the time the plumbing, fixtures, and things like that are the first to have issues. Usually!
Here is an example!
In this master bath, they literally encased and overflowed the fl**ge with mortar, AND put pieces of broken tile under it just to make sure it didn't rock. This is horrible! NEVER should have been done like this!
Luckily, we're great at what we do! Cleaned it all up, new off-set fl**ge, mortar done correctly, toilet set properly, and works great!!!

Oh and DONT BUY a builders house!! Lbvs!
