Wrapped up another project for a client this week. She complained about having to w**d eat these areas and that crawdads were also an issue.
Per her request, we dug down roughly one foot and removed all the old top soil and blue shale. To establish an edge, we went to Hardscape Materials inc. where they were able to provide us with the correct stone and morter color to match the flowerbeds used on other flowerbeds at our clients property. We constructed the stone border and then added 4” of sand to try to disrupt any crawdad activity. 8” of 80/20 planters mix was added on top of that and then topped with 3” of cedar mulch.
