Stiles Street Apartments is a deed-restricted affordable housing project that revitalizes seven vacant single-family lots into 18 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The project was broken up into three identical buildings, with facades designed to mimic the surrounding neighborhood aesthetic.

April is Fair Housing Month!

Fair Housing Month, celebrated every April, commemorates the 1968 passage of the Fair Housing Act, which prohibits housing discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, s*x, familial status, or disability. It is a month dedicated to promoting equal housing opportunities, fighting discrimination, and fostering inclusive communities.

For Architects, this means designing Accessible dwelling units, Type B units, and understanding the rules and regulations of both Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities (ANSI A117.1)

Currently in development and located in Central Florida, the Reserve at Poinciana will feature 54 townhouses across 10 buildings. The triangular lot posed a unique challenge when designing the most effective site plan that maximizes occupancy potential while maintaining the open space required for townhouse living.

JLS Architects is excited to announce that we have been selected as the architect for the Donald J Trump Presidential Library and Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good.
Once completed, this library will feature over two books! The library will also include a copy of the United States Constitution (untouched since November 2024), as well as over 6.6 million pages of (REDACTED).

Per the White House: This will be the biggliest and most beautiful Presidential library. While originally planned to be located within a Mar-A-Lago bathroom, we ultimately decided to relocate the building to Washington DC, where it will replace a long-forgotten statue of a bearded man sitting in a large chair."
