The last few months have been a roller coaster and I’d like to thank our customers for their patience with us. My Mother in law has been through so much to be able to spend time with her adoring family. Three weeks ago she decided to come home and be on hospice. It was so great to see her spend time with family and friends. My Mother in law Mrs Judy Bendorf passed last week surrounded by her family and was laid to rest this past Monday. I’ve had the privilege to call her Mom for 22 years and feel so blessed.

Sad day for our Iowa Army National Guard. All gave some but some gave all!

The Iowa National Guard Identified the soldiers as Sgt. William Nathaniel Howard 29, and Sgt. Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar, 25. Our hearts are with their families, loved ones and the Iowa National Guard during this time of profound sorrow. We honor their courage and sacrifice, and we will never forget them or their service.

We are also thinking of and praying for the families of the civilian interpreter who was killed, and the three other Guardsmen who were wounded.
