Sports have been a lifelong passion for Drew & Lindsay Hale, and they continue to promote athletic accessibility and participation on Cape Ann. The Hales – and Hale Design Build – have been long time supporters of various athletic programs on Cape Ann, including soccer, football, and hockey. Recently, several girls' and boys' soccer programs were treated to team dinners at at Tonno Gloucester!

1. Stealth Luxury & Visual Silence: Facades that lean into restrained, low-profile designs using charred timber, dark metal framing, and slate to blend into shoreline settings.

2. Indoor-Outdoor Flow: Oversized, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass and/or pivot doors to enhance custom builds and maximize natural light and ocean views.

3. Durable Coastal Materials: Practical yet classic additions like brick mudroom floors that easily handle sand and salt and the use of engineered stone and weathered wood that improve with age.

Bathroom crush: officially a thing.
Move over, kitchens. There’s a new favorite room in the house. We’re falling hard for bathrooms—the statement tile, the sculptural fixtures, the moody lighting, the little details that make you want to linger just a little longer. Because apparently, the room where you brush your teeth can also be the best-dressed room in the house.
