3 seasons ago we found this property destroyed by grubs. We came and did a grub treatment. A couple weeks later we came back and stripped the old grass out and took away what was left of the old root system. We turned the soil and brought in 4 inches of 50/50 super loam. Ran the grade 2” over 25’ and raked it smooth as could possibly be. Then we dropped some healthy start fertilizer and laid down some black beauty sod. This place has held up really nicely and kudos to the homeowner for protecting their investment by keeping up with the fertilizer program. This Hunter roam xl remote control has up to a 2 mile range and is extremely helpful when doing repairs or winterizing of large scale irrigation systems like the magnolia woods soccer fields in Gloucester Ma. We are approx 2500 feet away from the receiver and controller and we are having no problem at all with connectivity. This brand new sod lawn installed in the last week of July withstood a wedding with dance floor and tents and lots of foot traffic. We did end up replacing about 1000 square feet of the heavy traffic areas but other than that this place has recovered quite nicely due to the hard work of our mowing and maintenance crews and our expertise …… Call us @978-652-8051 there’s still some time left in the season for a new sod or hydroseed lawn complete with custom designed Hydrolite irrigation sytem….

Sometimes you have to bring in the big guns. Big shout out to Araneo Landworks for letting us borrow the airman185. These larger ballfield and soccer field systems have a two inch mainline and they require a little more volume than our machine has to do the job efficiently….our machine gets the job done but it takes too long and were not comfortable leaving these systems anything but perfect so we’re back touching up the fields and making the repairs I found yesterday so that they are ready to roll next season……We do not cut corners and we will not compromise our standards.

Winterizing irrigation has begun. Closing your irrigation system has to be done properly in order for your system to not freeze and break during the winter months.
