Since its Halloween we thought we would share some spooky situations from this season. CAUTION: SOME IMAGES MAY BE DISTURBING.
Failures can occur for many reasons from lack of maintenance to poor build design. Some fixes can be as simple as adding a gutter to divert water while others can be more involved. Finished photos from our " Trout Town" project. The new owners wanted to get on the right path to log home ownership. We removed the unmaintained existing failing/subpar par coating to bare wood and applied a new coating system specifically designed for log homes and with ease of future maintenance in mind. We've been lucky to work in some beautiful areas this season from the northern to the .

Sneak peak of last weeks project. We took this Cabin to bare wood with media blasting to remove the existing failing/subpar coating. When done correctly Media blasting efficiently removes existing finishes and removes damaged wood fibers while leaving behind the perfect surface for new stain application.

No maintenance combined with an inferior product resulted in this cabin needing restoration, now this home is protected and looking beautiful again.
