While waiting for different elements of our North Shore bathroom project to dry, we able to squeeze another small project down the road. Using some unfinished cabinets, a butcher block counter and some pine boards we built a very nice bookcase which finished an under utilized alcove very nicely. The alcove used to be part of a kitchen at one point in time. We also removed some paneling, installed some sheetrock and installed some interesting trim on the opposite wall.

It’s been a while since we've posted pictures of a recent project, but despite it being winter we continue to be busy. This project we are utilizing a walk-in closets and an adjoining closet to create a primary bathroom. Knocking down the wall to the adjoining closet we were able to create a spacious walk-in shower. When completed there will be a double sink vanity and a really fancy Japanese toilet with all sorts of features. The new bathroom will also feature a heated, tile floor.
