What does ASME Certification actually mean for a contractor?

It's more than just a stamp.

ASME Certification means a company has proven processes, quality control, and documentation standards in place for building a repairing pressure equipment.

In simple terms:
-Less risk
-Higher quality
-Work that meets strict industry codes

For plant managers and owners, that peace of mind matters, especially when safety and uptime are on the line. At PSS, our ASME and NBIC certifications aren't just credentials, they're the baseline for how we approach every project from start to finish.

Having in-house fabrication capabilities helps reduce delays, improve quality control, and ensure materials are ready when our field teams need them.

It’s the behind-the-scenes work that helps make successful project ex*****on possible.

Proud of the team that helps bring these projects to life long before installation begins.

How do you choose the right contractor for a shutdown or turnaround?

It’s not just about price.

The best partners bring:
-Proven safety record
-Experience
-Strong project management (timelines matter)
-The right certifications (ASME, NBIC, etc.)

Because the real cost isn’t the bid, it’s the delays, rework, or safety issues.

The right contractor keeps your project on schedule and your team confident in the work being done. That’s the difference between a smooth turnaround and a stressful one.
