This customer's roof boot surrounding the vent pipe was failing causing water intrusion. We resealed the boot, removed the damp insulation and all damaged drywall in the affected area. We recently assisted a customer with a persistent water leak originating from their roof following rainfall. Upon inspection, a protruding nail through the underlayment was identified as the source of the leak.
