I never thought it would happen to me. It's difficult being a small business, and it's even harder when big companies take advantage of your hard work. I've been blessed with amazing customers because, until now, I have never not been paid for work I've done. This Woodspring Suites in Elkhart is refusing to pay me. I was told by the general manager that my contract would be signed and not to worry, that I would get paid (I have the text messages). I wanted to help because they had nobody to take care of the snow for them. I did what I could, operating under her supervision as to when to plow or treat with ice melt. I'm now out about $1200, and I'm not sure what I can do, if anything, to get that money. I know a few of you travel for work often, and while I know I can't do much about this, I bet if everyone who sees this decided to boycott Woodspring Suites of Elkhart and, preferably, all of Choice Hotels International, they might struggle the way I've had to. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on how to get this resolved, please let me know. Anyone working for them, be careful, and if you are asked to plow or do anything for Woodspring Suites, don't let them rip you off like they did to me. Happy New Year, everyone!!

Don't wait, get ahead of the storm!
