Southern Ohio Radon Mitigation has made the decision to voluntarily partake in Governor Dewine's stay at home order. We take the health of our employees, clients and community very seriously and would like to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19. We believe that the best way to do this is staying home. We will revisit this on April 7th, 2020 and will continue to respect the governor and Ohio Department of Health's recommendations and orders. We appreciate your patience and hope that you will be safe!

One of the most common misconceptions regarding radon is that if a home does not have a basement (e.g. slab foundation, crawl space, root cellar) that the home will not have elevated radon levels. This just isn’t the case; if the house has a foundation, there is a potential of high elevated radon levels. Fun fact: the highest radon level we ever had was on a slab foundation.

Have you had your home tested for radon in the past 24 months? If not, give us a call, send a private message, comment on this post and/or send us an email: [email protected] and 513-259-3751.
