Queso, a b***o from Arizona, will be at The Heirloom Farmer enjoying the sunflowers! 🌻☀️

He’ll be available for visitors to walk with, spend time with, and photograph while you enjoy the beautiful sunflowers.

👮 Meet the Vendors 🧑‍🚒

This week is extra close to our hearts. This Sunday our theme is HOMETOWN HEROS 🫡 We’re excited to introduce the wonderful vendors joining us this week to honor our local veterans and first responders. Every purchase you make supports a small business, a local family, or a neighbor with a passion for what they do.

The Taylor Memorial Historical Museum will be open specially for the market this Sunday from 3-6pm. Be sure to head across the street to check out the museum and see the stories of all Brockway’s Hometown Heros of the past. If you haven’t seen their new addition yet, this is the perfect time!

🫏 Also note: Home Again Horses plan to bring Hercules the Donkey on Sunday!! Please take him into consideration when visiting the market, especially our four-legged friends.

Saturday August 29th 8a - 12p with Indiana County Farmers' Market where I am only one of several of your regional farmers feeding you & yours high quality care: food and relationship. worth traveling to from outside of indiana, my dears. A farmers market organized and operated by volunteer farmers sets a standard so many should learn from 😘

Please, visit these and any and all farmers markets regularly to get your dose of hope, fortify supply chains, share resources, build meaningful relationships outside of work - school - church, and give and take the care we all deserve !

You may notice i am often the *only* herb farmer and seed to bottle apothecary at many events in several counties. Please come through, share the word, and help us all have access to the education, care, and specialized skills carried by herbalists in direct contact with the plants and with you and your family.

With consistent community support of time, attention, and yes money these spaces and the providers can keep growing for you.

This upcoming Saturday, let’s try it again all my clients and supporters we’ve made over the years out Ligonier way. I’m at Hanna’s town Farmers Market this Saturday, once again the only herb farmer bringing their farm produce right to your community!

Last time I was there a fellow farmer made a very interesting / cause for pause comment.
He described the apothecary as supplements.

My farmer, why in the world are you thinking / talking / acting / like that?

I. Am. A Farmer. Just like you. Sowing, planting, harvesting in best practices for highest quality nutrition. I dry the Plants to preserve them. I infused them to topicals and tinctures: this is exactly what you call “farm added value products” or Preserving the nutrition for later use.
