The Treehouse Room

Tyler Green, of reached out to us with a very unique project: Construct an accurate, life size tree, with one day to install.

With the help and visualization of , both and teams created something that has never been done in either portfolio to this scale.

The tree was constructed offsite in five main pieces before being installed on site. The team worked closely with local safety officials and to ensure the piece is safe and meets all regulations.

It is an honor to present:

Designed specifically as a safe space where
where children could gather their thoughts and breathe.

This was a project that was very close to our hearts, and proof that when dreamers dream together, great things happen.

I wanted to share some very hard news.

Josephine — Jojo — is nearing the end of her life. She’s been facing kidney failure, and we’re spending this time keeping her comfortable, warm, and very much loved.

Jojo came into my life at a moment when I needed her more than I knew. After my sister died, she was there — quiet, stubborn, and constant. When my parents moved down south, she moved in with me and made herself at home immediately, as she did everywhere. She even helped me pick a wife, and we’ve been living happily ever after ever since.

She loves being warm more than anything in the world. Blankets, laps, sun patches, hoodies — if it radiates heat, it belongs to her. She’s a little self-centered, completely unapologetic about stealing food, and has a bigger wardrobe than I do.

If you’ve ever played disc golf with her around, you know she yips every single time someone throws off the tee, like it’s her personal job to announce it. She makes herself known. Always.

She’s stubborn, demanding, affectionate on her terms, and deeply loved. She has given comfort when it mattered most, and she takes up exactly as much space as she believes she deserves.

If you have a photo, a memory, or a Jojo story, I’d really love for you to share it here. She’s been loved by a lot of people, and it would mean a lot to see her through your eyes too.

Thank you to everyone who has loved her, held her, snuck her food, and helped keep her warm over the years. She feels all of it.

We’ve been busy making new office and prep spaces for our friends .state.vet 🤩 This is just one of the spaces we overhauled complete with two new walls, a Dutch door, and new electrical thanks to our friends . We also removed a front entry vestibule and reconfigured their workspaces. Next week we wrap everything up with a custom built-in and paint! ☑️
