Just got back from JLC Live.

We’re always refining how we build—
because our clients expect a higher level of quality, especially here on the coast.

Better tools.
Better materials.
Better systems—no shortcuts.

Everything we do is built with salt, wind, and time in mind—so it doesn’t just look good now, but holds up years from now.

We don’t compromise on what goes into a project, or how it’s put together.

At the end, we want to step back and know—
that was built the right way.

Most people will never see this detail.

This enclosed porch will have wood decking. Snow gets tracked in. It melts. Moisture sits.

So before setting the walls, we installed AZEK PVC under the bottom plate and routed small drainage channels.

Today, you can actually see the melting ice flowing out exactly as designed.

Simple idea. Long term protection. That’s how we build.

This cold winter weather has us dreaming of summertime decks on the ocean! The team completed this project summer of 2025. This home boasts new cedar shake siding, TimberTech Weather Wood composite decking, and a Feeney cable railing in Sparkling Champagne. Turn up your volume to hear a special song made for this particular project!

We’ve spent some of the past winter working on a set of bathroom remodels for one of our long-term caretaking clients at their oceanfront home in the Acadia area — and this one really felt like watching a house come back to life.

When we first stepped into these bathrooms, they were dated and tight, with layouts that never made good use of the space. On top of that, the master bath was freezing in the winter. You could feel the drafts spilling in from places that had been leaking since the house was built.

So, we took two of the bathrooms right down to the studs. Once everything was opened up, we could finally fix what had been holding these rooms back:
relocating plumbing, upgrading the electrical, adding insulation, and air-sealing every gap we could find. After new drywall and the homeowner’s chosen paint colors, the rooms already felt warmer, brighter, and just better.

All three bathrooms got new tile floors and custom glasswork, custom-milled trim and stain-matched to the original woodwork so everything flows together like it’s always been that way. This combo really pulled the whole look together and gave the spaces a clean, coastal feel that fits the home.

The master bath was the heart of the project. It now has a custom tile shower, a heated tile floor, and a beautiful double vanity built by the homeowner himself.

There’s something special about transforming spaces in a home that sits right on the Maine coast — giving a family rooms that finally feel comfortable, functional, and aligned with the character of the place they love.

Grateful for the trust. Proud of the craftsmanship. And always happy to help bring a home’s potential forward, one project at a time.

The crew finished a big job out on Swans island. We replaced all the old, rotted finger jointed pine trim with new Azek PVC trim. When we found a rotted beam, the crew did a great job strategically removing it and replacing it with pressure treated lumber.
