We are looking for an automotive technician specializing in automotive air conditioning service to join our growing team. Individual will be responsible for scheduling appointments, ordering parts, talking with customers, diagnosing air conditioning related problems, diagnosing other automotive related problems, all while continuing to achieve the same level of service we have always provided. They will also have to be cross trained to work in other parts of our company including tool repair, custom A/C and hydraulic hose building and repair and mobile repair work. Previous automotive repair and diagnosis experience required. Pay will be determined on current knowledge and past experience.

2021 is off to a quick start for us!
We are very happy to announce our partnership with NAVAC on becoming their authorized repair center in the US for their HVAC tools and equipment. We are also very excited to announce Ice-Kold is now a authorized Robinair service center for the Milwaukee, Fox Valley, and surrounding areas. We have been working toward this agreement for over 5 years and finally got the opportunity to help and support one of the largest Automotive Air-Conditioning machine manufactures and sellers in the country.

No job too big, no job too small, no job too old, Ice-Kold can handle them all! This has been a fun week so far we got a few different projects in that we are working through. It is always fun to see what comes through our door next and challenges our guys. Look what we received this week! Our new automotive key cutting machine finally arrived. We now have the ability to cut and program all makes and models of car keys. We can do anything from simple unlock/lock door keys to flip out key fobs. It seems fitting that our first customer was the Grafton High School Autos department as they needed a key for one of the shop vehicles.

Check out our new decals that were installed on one of our service vehicles by CKC Graphics & Signs. They really knocked it out of the park. Look for us around town or call us if you can use an of our mobile services listed on our vehicle. Do you know that using you vehicles A/C in the summer is just as important as using your A/C during the winter months! Instead of thinking of A/C as a cooling mechanism, think of it as a way to pull out the moisture in your vehicle. If you ever run into your windshield being full of ice and you have to scrape from the inside not the outside, there is a good chance that your vehicle air conditioning system is not operating properly and probably needs to be serviced.

We are looking for summer help! We are looking for a repair technician to help fix and repair HVAC tools and equipment as well as helping with our shipping department to get our machines shipped out on time every day. This is a great opportunity for a high school or college student looking for summer work. 30-40 hours a week and pay based off experience. We will teach you everything you need to know to do the job. As the A/C season comes to a close we still have appointment slots available to have your A/C serviced. Your A/C system can have an effect on how your heat works in the winter and how your A/C operates come next summer.
Because your A/C system has parts that are meant to be moving, when it sits dormant for 6 months it does not allow the oil to properly lubricate the system and can cause issues with components operating properly when you go to use it again next summer.
Using your A/C during winter can also help reduce moisture in your vehicle and help get rid of foggy windshields and windows and help eliminate the 15 minutes of using your defrosters upon starting your vehicle.
But do not worry you can turn the heat and A/C on at the same time so you do not freeze. These are just simple things to do to help increase the life of your cars A/C system.
