Is the electrical panel in your home a hidden fire hazard? As a homeowner, you need to know the signs of an unsafe, old, or defective electrical panel before it's too late.

In this video, we reveal the 4 obsolete electrical panel manufacturers that are notorious for failure and should be replaced immediately! Plus, learn the critical warning signs of an aging or overloaded panel, even if it's a newer model.

In This Video, You'll Learn:
⚠️ The 4 Hazardous Panel Manufacturers: See the list of obsolete brands—including Federal Pacific, Zinsco Sylvania, Challenger, and Bulldog/Pushmatic—that are known for failing to shut off circuits, putting your home at risk for overheating and fire.

🔥 Signs of Panel Failure: How to spot evidence of overheating, melting insulation, or "cherry red" wires inside your breaker box.

🛠️ The Panel's Real Job: Understand why an electrical panel's primary function is to shut power off and why just having power doesn't mean it's working safely.

💡 Grounding Issues: Why redundant grounding systems (like two points of contact) are required today and what to look for in older installations.

❓ When to Upgrade: Why panels are not designed to last forever, and when you should seriously consider a replacement, especially if your panel is over 30-50 years old.

For years, my clamp meter was enough... until it wasn't. Ran into a tricky attic fan repair that forced me to finally buy a true digital multimeter. Turns out, the capacitor setting saved the day (and confirmed a bad cap!). Sometimes, you just need the right tool for the job. Do you have a DMM? 👇

Nothing is more professional than leaving a clean job site! The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Brushless PACKOUT Wet/Dry Vacuum is my go-to for cleaning up dust, debris, and sawdust on the fly.

What makes it so good? It's 100% cordless, meaning I can walk right into a house and clean up without hunting for an outlet. It easily stacks on the rest of my PACKOUT system (as you can see, I keep mine right by the door!). \n\nI run mine on the M18 battery system, and while it definitely uses power, the convenience and strong suction are completely worth it.

What do you use to keep your workspace clean? Let me know!

When you're working overhead or in tight spaces, the size and weight of your tools matter. That's why the Milwaukee M12 Impact Driver (paired with an XC 3.0 battery) is the driver I reach for most often. It's an absolute workhorse that fits almost anywhere.

Show off its key features, including the speed/drive settings for precise work (no more stripping screws!), and explain why I choose this compact impact over my larger M18 hammer drill for 90% of my electrical work. If you need power without the bulk, the M12 system is the answer.

What is your favorite M12 tool? Let me know in the comments!
