In case you all need a reminder..
I am a construction consultant, so any and all construction.
I have a great crew that I work with.
I also work with a great roofer and gutter company, so anything you need, I most likely have someone to get the job done.
And, don’t forget, insurance claims specialist..I am excellent at getting your insurance company to take care of you. It may take awhile on some of them, but if you’ve hired me, I’ll stick with it.
I’ve been in the industry for 16 years.
Tomorrow, I’m finally able to get the metal roof started.
Insurance started out with less than $1,000.. they then approved more but it still wasn’t enough. I went to the job with a great roofing specialist and drone. I climbed on that huge roof and helped measure and took pics.. we got it approved for a total roof replacement.. almost $20k..
My window wrap job, we were able to get it professionally done and insurance paid every penny I was asking for.
That’s only part of it.. it’s been a busy season. Time to get inside work completed. Which brings me to, the spiral staircase.. tearing that out and remodeling and widening the staircase for my client. It’s going to be gorgeous and so practical.
Please don’t settle.

I just called my insurance agent to check on my coverage. I have full coverage on my car in case we get hit with hail. My renters insurance is paid as well..
Check your policy or call your agent to see what your deductible is and to make sure you have Replacement Cost (RCV) and NOT ACTUAL CASH VALUE (ACV).. what ACV means is they will depreciate and give you what it's worth. The rest is out of pocket. It's only a few dollars more to have REPLACEMENT COST (RCV). My daughter paid $25 to increase her coverage. With RCV, it's depreciated in the beginning but once the work is complete the insurance company sends you the depreciation back.. this way your out-of-pocket expense is only your deductible.. which brings me to the deductible. Your deductible should be $500-$1000 sometimes a little more. Please make sure your deductible is not a percentage of what your home is insured for.. 1% can easily make your deductible costly.
I enjoy helping people understand these things. I needed someone like me years ago when I filed a homeowner's claim. Now I know what I know and I can easily talk to the insurance adjusters and work on your behalf. I have a great team! We are all in this together and they really want to keep you as happy clients.
