Over the holiday weekend we had the opportunity to catch up with our friends at Dirt World. They walked us through some of the newer trends, product availability, and showed off some of their new landscaping boulders.

To say they are a great small business partner would be an understatement!

Who wants one or two of these boulders for a centerpiece in their flower bed?!?! 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

Or how about flagstone that looks like driftwood 👀

Give us a call for all you lawn and landscape needs!

We get asked how we get through the hot days safely all the time! We love that our customers, family and friends care so much 💚

Well here are our pointers to function in this heat:

💦 Hydration: If you are starting to down your water the day of the heat you are behind! Hydration starts a couple days before. We carry a large cooler that is filled with water and Gatorade for the team and refreshed daily. We start our days with a Liquid IV and have another mid afternoon. Then we always hydrate when we get home that evening.

🍎 Food: The food we consume during these heat waves should serve a purpose. It needs to be light and quick for us. In the picture is my personal lunch or snacks for the day: watermelon, grapes, sweet peppers and a beef stick. A lot of these foods also continue to help with staying hydrated.

🧢 Clothing: Needs to be light and breathable. Hat and shades to help keep the sun off of your neck and face. Sunscreen is another thing a lot of us use.

💡 Be Smart: It is not about being a tough guy, think. We take multiple air conditioned breaks throughout the day. We make sure our teammates are doing the same and drinking lots of water.

We encourage everyone to be safe throughout this heat wave, sounds like it is going to be here awhile!

🎒TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! 🎒

Backpacks are packed, new shoes are ready, and parents everywhere are wondering how these kids grew up so fast over one summer. 🤯

Tomorrow, some kids will walk in excited, some will be a little nervous, and some will just be wondering how long until lunch. 😂🍕

To all the students — be kind, make a new friend, work hard, and don’t be afraid to be YOU. ❤️

To our teachers and school staff — thank you for the patience, encouragement, and heart you pour into our kids every single day. We appreciate you more than you know!

And parents… take the front porch pictures tomorrow. 📸 One day, you’ll be glad you did. ❤️

From our Harper Lawn Care family to yours, we hope every student, teacher, and staff member has an AMAZING first day and a wonderful school year! 💚📚

It is time…….. this is when bad lawns become good and good lawns become great!

Fall renovations are right around the corner, but to have a successful renovation and that thick lush lawn everyone dreams about you have to do one thing first…. Control the weeds!

Today we are out spraying some yards before the heat takes over, but soon we will be aerating, verticutting, over seeding, dethatching and over hauling lawns.

If you want to get on that list give us a call or text for your free estimate!
