Hi everyone,
We just received word from city of Los Angeles that the 2 to 6 residential meter sections that are provided without a main are NOT acceptable if your building permit was pulled / obtained after Dec 31, 2022.
If you have placed your order for these units, please contact your supply house and advise them of the new code section 230.71. Your meter section MUST BE equipped with a main overcurrent protection ( fuse or breaker)or the meters have to be in a separate compartment.
